The inspiration for this recipe was all about Tammy, the middle child. She and our Dad share a strange addiction to bread pudding. They love this stuff. Well, I had some old bread laying around and I knew I wouldn’t use it. No, not even gonna feed it to the chickens. They are getting too fat so I have to give them strictly feed and grass for a while. Sorry, girls. Anyway back to this crazy recipe. I had some french bread sub rolls laying around and when Laura was here, she left some Coffee Mate creamer in my fridge. I am not a coffee connaisseur so it was looking pretty lonely and unloved in there. Then it hit me, Tammy loves to make bread pudding with the Coffee Mate because she has a child that is lactose intolerant. In her recipe she subs all of the milk for a flavored non dairy coffee creamer. Here I tossed in a cup because that is what was left. The results were heaven in a pan. Chocolatey custard bread pudding deliciousness!
